Morning Routine

Hello everyone!


Yesterday evening I returned from my holidays. It's been a lovely time with my family and now I am in the mood for writing some posts.

Starting with my morning routine, as I recognized this morning that I'm following a certain order of doing things every morning. If this makes sense for you. I don't mean this in a beauty-way, by the way, more like lifestyle kind of way.


The first thing in the morning is, of course, getting up. Now, I am that kind of a person who is really angry of herself when she is getting up too late. When I am getting out of bed after 9 a.m I feel like I have wasted half of the day and I don't know what to do with myself.
So my phone wakes me up at 8 a.m with an aggressive beep-beep. Even though I am annoyed at that moment I feel better after getting up.
I even stay in bed for some time, checking twitter or listen to music, or I get up.

After I rolled out of bed I like to stretch myself. I start reaching for the ceiling, then I try touching my toes. I do this about three times. Then I start beating my body gently with the inside area of my hand. I start with my arms, starting from the shoulders, beating to my wrist on the outside and going back on the inside of my arm. I am doing the same thing on the other arm. I then continue with my legs. Again, I start at the inside of the thighs, beating with the whole hand carefully down to my ankle and back up on the outside. Same thing on the other leg. I repeat this as many times as I want to.

The next thins I do is making my bed and then I choose an outfit for the day which takes a lot of time, because I can never decide what I want to wear. So most of the time I throw all of my clothes on the floor to get the perfect outfit.

Then I go to the bathroom, put my hair up and do my beauty-routine. This takes about 15 minutes. After that I go downstairs to make my breakfast.

Breakfast is so important for the whole day! And I am just the worst at taking time for a real breakfast. Especially during school time I usually skip this point, because I rather sleep longer. But honestly: I don't recommend you doing that. Breakfast (especially when you're eating the right food) gives you a lot of energy which you'll need for the day.
So take the time and make yourself a proper breakfast. You have so many healthy opportunities. You can make yourself a smoothie, eat toasted bread with ham (or something else, you decide), fruits with nature yoghurt... the list goes on. Just take the time. Sit and eat and do nothing else.

And then it's time to continue with the rest of the day. It doesn't matter whether you're going to school or meeting with friends or just staying home, you will feel fresh and energized.
