Hey there!
During the holidays I sometimes feel the urge to just go out and buy stuff and, oh boy, I bought a lot of stuff and felt bad afterwards, you have no idea. So I just thought I'd share some of the things with you and tell you my first impressions of them.
Starting with my first purchase and also with the most expensive one. It's the YSL Rouge Por Couture in 205 - Prune Virgin. This may sound like I have a lot of experience with lipsticks and especially expensive ones, but honestly, I have literally no idea. Let me tell you, I was so awkward in the shop. I was just standing in front of the lipstick-sample and didn't know what to do and where the "real" lipsticks were. Then a shop assistant came up to me (I bet she saw me struggling) and went "Sorry, can I help you?" and I said "Yes, sorry, but where can you have this one, like, buying." and pointed at the lipstick. She started laughing and gave it to me of one of these drawers..Yeah..
The lipstick is amazing! I wore it only one time, when I was with my friends and it stayed all day, even though we were eating and drinking. It also wasn't smudged at all which surprised me.
I didn't buy a lip liner, so you either have to use a lip-brush to line your lips or be really careful while applying it. For me it's the perfect colour for autumn and winter. I definitely would not wear it for school, because I would feel overdressed and it would be kind of a waste of the lipstick. But for a day out with friends, a birthday or other special occasions it's just perfect.

The second stop was at Urban Outfitters. Instead of going crazy with clothes I bought a book and a cup. Exciting stuff, I know.
Starting with the cup: It is completely white, has a lettering, saying "Be awesome today", which is always a great reminder, and the lid is black. It is perfect for me. I love coffee and I need coffee. But, as I already told you, I get up so late, that the coffee is not at drinking temperature when I'm leaving the house. These times are finally over and I can just put my drink in the cup and enjoy it on my way to the train. And I save a lot of future money, because I bought me coffee every morning in a café which got really expensive over the months. Yes, good purchase, glad I did it.
The second thing from Urban Outfitters was this book called "It's not how good you are, it's how good you want to be". I have not read it yet (I haven't even started tbh) but I thought it is an inspirational quote which may want you to get up and get some work done. I am one of these horrific procrastinators and I don't think that I can still be this way when I want to be successful in my exams. I will give you a review on it when I finished reading it.
I have also been in Lush and bought a Bath Bomb. The amazing Dragon Egg. Although I am not a huge fan of taking a bath I love Lush and if I am taking a bath (every couple months) it has to be with a bath bomb. I actually never had a Dragon Egg before, I just heard so many people talking about it and so I bought it and used it immediately. It was so great, oh my god, it smelled amazing, it looked amazing when I put it in the bath, it created loads of bubbles, it coloured the water kind of yellow and was just really enjoyable. But the one thing that annoyed me was the glitter. I had it everywhere on my body and I bet there is still glitter in my hair. So, if you never had it: Buy it, but watch out for the glitter.
I also picked up the current catalogue from Lush which you get for free there. It's about how to treat your hair and of course their new stuff, so if you have the opportunity you should pick one up as well.

Then I went to Topshop. First things first, it was not like a real Topshop-shop, it was just an area in a huge shopping centre so they did not have the biggest variety of clothes and also not the newest things. But I just wanted to buy something, because I don't live in a city with a Topshop and I only go there about twice a year. I think you understand why I had to get something. I picked up some things, tried some on and decided that this one would be perfect. It's a white cropped shirt and the ends of the sleeves are dark blue. It's a little bit see through so your bra might shine through a bit, but not too much, it's still okay. You can combine it perfectly with a high waisted black jeans. You then look like one of these tumblr girls who understand fashion. Just do it! I am so glad I bought it. It's more of a summer shirt, but I would wear it even in autumn, because it looks so nice.

Last, but not least, there is this lovely wall clock I picked up in a random shop from the street. I know, really helpful for you, if you like it, but you might find something similar on amazon. As you may or may not know is that I am really obsessed with London and I love old looking clocks. This is obviously made for me and I just had to buy it. I will also change rooms soon, because my brother moves out in a couple of weeks, so I have the first piece of new decoration.
So that was it, a really detailed description of what I recently bought. I hope I did not bore you and that you liked some of the stuff. Also, feel free to leave a comment, cause I always like a feedback.
Love, Paula Charlotte.
